We were on our way to Yukon Territory and Alaska July 2011. Phenomenal Scenery into Stewart, Glacier after Glacier . Great curves paved all the way to Stewart. Great little restaurant in Stewart and accommodations for small town .( refer to Milepost Guide book for more details ) We stayed one night and went over to Hyder ,Alaska next morning , continued on to Grizzly Bear boardwalk , no sightings but we were a little early for Salmon run, proceeded to Salmon Glacier . Unbelievable as you look down at the Glacier .Road is crushed rock but made it up and back on Honda ST1300s , no troubles, new tires though . Car wash back in Stewart as bikes were coated with Grey dust. Don't forget your passport . No U.S. customs on way over but Canadian Customs on way back. A group of young lads who partied the night before in Hyder forgot theirs and were delayed . Brilliant Sunshine , which I guess is not always the case.
