The road climbs up to Lefka Ori mountain and ends at Omalos Plateau. In summer time, when the gorge of Samaria is open, there is lot traffic at the road. There are lots of busses early at the morning moving up in order to move the tourists to Samaria Gorge and then moving empty back. At winter there is a small change that you cannot access to Omalos Plateau cause of the snow
