There is a new paved road connecting the four beautiful beaches in south Rethimno. This road is not shown on the above map but you cannot miss it. Just follow the coastline ;) Agios Pavlos is the most known beach of this route. Lots of rooms to rent and lots restaurants can be located there. You have to be careful not to miss the crossroad over Agios Pavlos to Tiopetra. The road goes beside the west and not to crowdie beach of Agios Pavlos and then reaches Triopetra. Continue west and you will end up at Akoumiani Giala. An unpaved road -for just a few hundred meters- starts from there. Soon you will be on cement and then to a new paved road that will lead you to Aghia Fotini.
