Just an awerage road, unless you happen to be a local out to speed.
Anything to get off the 75! Recommended. Not hugely fast until you know it, but well worth the detour if you are heading up here.
this is a great road....the back roads from annan to dumfries have been used for high spedd fun for many a year. started in a car and love it now on a motorbike, there is everything you will ever need for an exciting 12 or so miles. bends, fast bits, bridges, excellent scenery, knee down scrapers and little traffic.
